This image came to me years ago. I’ve redrawn it countless times, searching for its meaning… and its reflection of me.
This time, I found it.
It’s a symbol of rupture.
Of metamorphosis.
Of beauty born through chaos.
The Xploding Butterfly is each of us.
The flower is the dream we’re drawn toward.
But as we near it–fragile, exposed, fully in flight–the flames rise.
Distraction. Doubt. Fear.
They try to consume what we are destined to hold.
But there is nothing more sacred than the pursuit.
Nothing more courageous than to keep flying toward what calls us to become more.
This relic is a reminder:
Let the fragility of the journey make you fierce.
Let the dream pull you through the fire.
