After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Hunter gained national acclaim with the release of The 27s: The Greatest Myth of Rock & Roll, a 312-page illustrated odyssey exploring the enduring legacy of musicians who passed at 27. The book became a cult favorite, cementing Hunter’s reputation for visual storytelling with soul, symbolism and edge.

Known for his concert posters that blend traditional techniques with bold contemporary design, Hunter’s signature style evokes both nostalgia and reinvention. His work has been commissioned by Another Planet Entertainment, Live Nation, Omnivore Recordings, Strolling Bones Records and 7S Management.
